Description of Games  2009

 

Low Net * use full handicap.

 

Four Club  *  bring only 4 clubs - low net, use full handicap.

 

Low Putts * no handicap.

 

Three blind mice * Deduct three worst holes, use full handicap.

 

Low net plus putts * Keep gross score and putts for each hole. At end use full handicap net score plus total putts.

 

Four man scramble * Each player on a team hits a tee shot. The team selects the best one and each player hits his 2nd shot from that spot. This is repeated until the ball is holed out. Use 1/2 of 80% of combined handicaps. The team must use 2 tee shots for each man.

 

Two man scramble * Both players on a team hits a tee shot. The team selects the best one and each player hits his 2nd shot from that spot. This is repeated until the ball is holed out. Use half of the combined handicaps. The team must use 4 tee shots for each man.

 

Four man best ball * Dot the score card with full handicap. Enter gross/net score on each hole for each player. The team score for each hole is the best net score for that hole.

 

Even holes * odd holes * Total of even or odd numbered holes. Use 25% of handicap.

 

Beat the pros * Two man best ball, using full handicaps vs. two man best ball net score by the PML club professionals. The pro-shop will determine the pairings.

 

One two three * Score 1 best ball starting with the first 1st  hole, 2 best balls on the 2nd hole, 3 best balls on the 3rd hole. Repeat cycle for the rest of the holes. Dot the score card with full handicap. Enter gross/net score on each hole.

 

Red, White, Blue * Score 1 best ball for each hole with a red flag, 2 best balls for each hole with a white flag, 3 best balls for each hole with a blue flag. Dot the score card with full handicap. Enter gross/net score on each hole.

 

One man scramble* Each player may hit two balls for each shot and pick the better of the two for the subsequent shot. Due to extra time required, this will be limited to two-somes and scheduled at a time of low golf course activity.

 

Forward Green Tees*  Low net score – Green handicap or Yellow tee handicap  minus 5.

 

Four man bramble * Each player on a team hits a tee shot. The team selects the best one and each player hits his 2nd shot from that spot. Then each player continues with their own ball. Score is best ball of the dotted handicap for each hole. The team must use two tee shots for each man.

Yellow Ball* A unique ball is rotated between the players. Dot the score card with full handicap. Enter gross/net score on each hole the each player. The team score is net for the hole of the yellow ball player. If the yellow ball is lost, the team is disqualified.
